Hello! This is my first time using HubSpot. I am creating a Marketing Email (Starter package) and wish to change the background color of a text content module. I am using the drag and drop builder, not HTML. I know how to change the background color for the ENTIRE email, but cannot figure out how to change it for one text content module only. I’ve read a few articles and posts here but it’s not working. I am able to access source code of text content module, and have tried to add, but they do not work. I’d like background color to be d8edfb. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance!!

There should be no need to edit the HTML, you can do this in the email editor…
If you mouse-over the component you want to change the colour for you should see a pencil icon like this:
Click it and you’ll be in the Layout Editor for that component.
You should see some background options here, which look like this:
As you can see in the first image above, I’ve chosen a lovely (?!) full width, red background for this element. You can just about make out in that pic that the background only applies to the text component, not the (white background) element that precedes it.

Thank you for the lovely guidance, @AdamLPW! Sadly when I mouse over the box, I only see the clone and delete options, not edit. Do you know how to enable this? Or maybe it’s just available in Professional and Enterprise versions?! Appreciate any further lovely guidance you may have! Thank you!
I’m on Legacy Marketing Hub Starter, which I know is slightly different from the current Starter package, BUT…
Looks like you SHOULD have this functionality.

There’s a gif part-way down showing the options you need, and the guide says it’s applicable for all subscription types:
Are you able to see these options?
This changes the color of the entire section, not that module
Just use a button. 
This has a blue color for the section, the white background is a button. The button also allows html for further text customization like so.
