Aparantly this was possible when the Marketing Events feature was first launched, but has since been removed.
The marketing events tool is brilliant and something that I’ve been wishing for for a LONG time. I’d like to utilize it to measure and analyze event effectiveness and revenue attribution.
Currently I can only begin to explore this posibility with events that sync through an integration. There is no way for me to manually create an event, from a specific date, and upload a list of registrants and attendees. (which is what I would do for prior events, for instance).
Without being able to track and report on ALL of our events, this tool is basically useless to me....full of promise and dissapointment 😭
While you do need an app to create marketing events, we recently created a way to easily manage marketing events from directly within your account.
The app listing page is linked below - I do think this will help you out, and there's a 2-week free trial to help make sure it's going to solve for your needs.
In my perspective this has been delivered. If you go to Contacts -> Marketing Events (drop-down) there should be a button to create a new marketing event at the top right, which triggers this form:
I would like to use this feature to create events without having to connect to an app, but need more help to find it. I do not see "Create Event" in my instance. I am a Super Admin with a Professional license.
I also looked in Product Updates and do not see it "In beta" to be able to join, or any other list for that matter.
Thanks for the reply JulienHennico. Yeah, I do not see that. I had searched for "event" before and got one unrelated return, if I search "marketing event" I get zero returns. Here is what I get with "marketing". Near as I can tell there are no filters that would keep it from returning.

Hello, I work on a client account as a partner, they have marketing professional and I don't have the Marketing events option, nor does this option appear in the product update.
Hello, @StaCatS@JulienHennico@PVasques you can manually create your Marketing Events, by clicking on your CRM menu, then on the contact's view click the drop-down and select Marketing events. Once in Marketing events you can click on the Create marketing event's orange button.

When you create your Marketing event, you'll be able to import Registrations, cancellations and attendace.

Hello, Has anyone found a way to associate Marketing Events with Campaigns from the Marketing Events end, rather than having to go into the campaign to connect the two? Thanks!
