DOMAIN AUTHORITY NOT INCREASING

SOLVE

Hi @RishiDahiya,

Happy to help with this! Building up your website’s domain authority can definitely feel frustrating, especially when you’re putting in the effort and not seeing results right away.

From experience, creating profiles on various websites is a good start, but it’s often not enough on its own. The quality of the backlinks plays a huge role. Links from high-authority, relevant sites tend to carry much more weight than links from random or lower-quality sites. It might be worth checking if the sites you’ve used have solid authority themselves.

Content can also make a big difference. Publishing valuable, original content on your own site that naturally attracts links over time is one of the most reliable ways to build DA. Things like well-researched articles, unique insights, or helpful tools tend to get noticed and shared.

Another thing to consider is how often your site gets updated and its overall technical health. Slow loading times, broken links, or lack of mobile optimization can sometimes hold your site back, even if you’re building backlinks.

Patience is key here – it often takes several months or even longer for changes to reflect in metrics like domain authority. In the meantime, it’s worth diversifying your efforts and focusing on building a mix of high-quality backlinks and strong on-site content.

Hope this helps!

DOMAIN AUTHORITY NOT INCREASING

SOLVE

Hi @RishiDahiya,

The lack of change in your website's Domain Authority (DA) could be due to several factors. DA is influenced not just by the quantity, but also by the quality and relevance of backlinks. If the backlinks you’ve created are from low-quality or unrelated sites, they may not positively impact your DA. Additionally, it takes time for search engines to recognize and evaluate new backlinks, so patience is key in seeing improvements.

To improve your website’s Domain Authority (DA), consider these tips and resources:

  • Focus on obtaining high-quality backlinks from reputable websites, and use HubSpot's SEO tools to track and identify valuable linking opportunities.
  • Optimize your content based on relevant topics and subtopics using HubSpot's SEO tools to improve search engine indexing.
  • Create pillar pages to establish authority on specific topics, and interlink them with supporting content to build a strong content structure.
  • Ensure your website is optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and HTTPS security, and regularly audit for broken links and better user experience.
  • Continuously monitor your website’s SEO performance using HubSpot’s SEO analysis tools to track content success and keyword effectiveness.
