I just took the Inbound Certification exam and saw on the page before taking it that I needed to get 38/50 correct to pass. I got 39/50 and received a “Sorry, you didn’t pass” notification followed by an e-mail that said I didn’t pass because I only got 39/60 (vs. 50). Based on the intro, I believe I should have passed. Could someone please get back to me?
Thank you for the thoughtful response, but I think there is an issue with the system. I took a quiz that only had 50 questions. I got a score of 39/50. I have a screenshot of that score (not the 39/60 that was after delivered to me via e-mail and what youre probably seeing), and I can send it you. I took it as a result of being surprised by the “Failed” since I had seen the 38/50 requirement to pass before taking the exam. If you could please provide an e-mail address, I’m happy to send it to you. I should have passed. I see now that the test has changed and has 60 questions, but I took a 50 question test and got 39/50 correct, which is above the 76% threshold equal to that of the new exam at 46/60 or 76%. I shouldn’t have to take the test all over again when I got above the score advertised as the passing rate.
Thanks for reaching out! There haven’t been any changes to the exam that I am aware of, but the best next step would be to send the email so I can take a look. You can send the email to community@hubspot.com.
I just wanted to reach out and confirm that the team was able to see that you did receive a passing score on the exam and as such, you should see the Inbound certification within your portal now.
