Working with HIDDEN_PRIVATE files through API

Hi,

I saw in documentation that there is no possibility to LIST through HIDDEN_PRIVATE files via API request. But it’s possible to fetch a file if we know the ID.

Imagine I’m fetching deals via API, will I see HIDDEN_PRIVATE file IDs in a response?

Sidequestion: how to create these kind of files through UI? I don’t see such option, just private or public.

Hey, @PJMuller :waving_hand: Great question. I agree, the documentation makes this a bit mysterious. Files are only marked as HIDDEN_PRIVATE when manually added to an object record. Nothing in the documentation points to these being visible in a response outside of fetching by ID and using the additional scope of files_ui_hidden.read
