Currently in HubSpot there are a few ways to create and assign tasks. One of them is manually inside a contact’s record by clicking “create task”. By doing it manually this way there is an option for me to set a reminder “at task due time”.
Another way to create/assign a task is automatically with a workflow. Someone comes into our system, thus triggering the workflow and task creation. However, its here in the workfllow where task reminders are limited. There is no option to set a reminder “at task due time”, like there is when the task is created manually inside a contact record.
I’m hoping that some day HubSpot will roll out this feature so that those task functions and reminders work in the same way. Being able to have a task reminder send to my email inbox at task due time is very helpful for me.
