Hello,

I was hoping to find a work around for this issue we are having. We have created a new field for Sales Lead on the deal. Some sales leads have hubspot access and others do not( We are going to get everyone access this week). We want to create a workflow that sends an email to the deal owner, collaborators as well as the Assigned Sales Lead. IS there a way to send an email to the sales elad based on the user in the field? If we have everyone set up in HS I do not see this as an option in the workflow creation menu to send to the sales lead thats assigned? I though of a workflow that could would look at this and send diffferent emails based on the field but we have over 55 sales leads so it could become a lot managing.

If you have set up the sales field as a ‘HubSpot user’ property, then you can simply pick this property as a recipient in a workflow notification:

HubSpot will dynamically look up who the sales lead (owner) is, then send them the notification. Simply check the boxes for all relevant owners in this dropdown.

If you want to notify someone based on which sales lead is selected, you would add enrollment criteria as follows:

  • Select ‘When filter criteria is met’
  • Define when enrollment should happen, e.g. ‘Sales lead is known’ (and enable re-enrollment)
  • Add a branch (AND/OR branch) to define who should be notified about certain sales leads, if applicable
