Win Probability in Exports differs from Pipeline Settings

Hi all,

we do most of our reporting in Excel and just realized that the forecast probability in the pipeline exports is different from the settings in Hubspot.

E.g. the probability of a deal in the POC stage is set to 80% in Hubspot; however, in Excel the probability is 90%, and so are the weighted values that have been calculated in the Excel sheet.

One other stage that is set to 5% in the pipeline settings is even considered with 25% in the export.

Any idea why this is happening? This create a huge delta in our reporting…

In Excel, we only have the following probabilities to chose from:

But the settings actually look like this:

Thanks!

Hey @EC1V8AB

Thank you for the detailed information. I’ll connect you with a few experts that can share some thoughts about this.

Hey @DianaOliva @warrendavey @mike-ward do you have any recommendations for @EC1V8AB?

Thanks

Sharon

Thanks, but I think I just figured out what’s wrong.

There is a difference between Deal Stage/Win Probability and Forecast Probability.

For some reason, you can only export the Forecast Probability, which is only 25, 50 and 90% (Pipeline, Commit, Best Case). And which is being used to calculate the forecasted amount in the pipeline export.

Exporting the Deal stage probability for some reason is not doable; even though this is what is being used by the Hubspot ‘Weighted Pipeline Forecast’.

Do you have any explanation for why this is not possible? Does not make any sense to me and does add manual steps to my reporting everytime I’m pulling the latest export.
