I believe it is now obvious that WhatHub has collapsed.
They haven’t responded to any communication for about 2 years.
The application still functions, but there is no support or communication from the provider, and overall the situation is problematic.
WhatHub used to be a very good solution for integrating HubSpot with WhatsApp—as long as there were people behind the application. It seems that’s no longer the case.
Is there anyone in the community who can recommend a tested and reliable alternative?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi @prozakis,
I have not used WhatHub before, but HubSpot now offers a native WhatsApp integration:
Have you tried this option?
Yes, I tried, but when you are connected to the META interface to setup your number, the prompts are a mystery.
When I enter my whatsapp phone number, it replies **existing number** and it won’t allow to proceed further.
Then a prompt appears and disappeares in 2 second (no time to read)
Hi @prozakis
You’re right, WhatHub has been basically abandoned for years now, So relying on it isn’t safe anymore.
HubSpot’s native WhatsApp integration is the best-supported path g.oing forward, but the setup through Meta Business Manager can be confusing. The “existing number” error usually means the number is already linked to a personal WhatsApp or to another Business Account.
You’ll need to migrate it to a WhatsApp Business Account and confirm ownership through Meta before HubSpot can connect see the official setup guide:
(Connect a WhatsApp channel to the conversations inbox)
If you don’t want to fight with Meta setup, some teams use Twilio’s WhatsApp API with HubSpot workflows, or intermediaries like 360dialog, but those require more technical handling.
On the reliability side, many of us share your concern about “orphaned apps” that vanish without support. That’s exactly why we built Stacksync. While we don’t provide a WhatsApp-specific connector, our platform ensures that when you connect HubSpot with other systemss
You get real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and active support. In other words, it eliminates the risk of integrations collapsing silently after two years with no updates
For companies who can’t afford data gaps or failed syncs, this stability is often more valuable than the app itself.
Happy to walk you through how it works if that angle would help.
Hope this helps.
