Website URL property validation

Hi there,

It seems that there isn’t a way to valid an input for “Website URL” property.

That would be great if it is supported.

I would agree that it would be helpful to have a property that can hold a URL. We have multiple items that would be nice to have a direct link via a URL property versus placing in a note:

  • Link to an account map in our OneDrive or other folders
  • We work with clients on their events, it would be nice to have a property that has a direct link to their list of events if on a webpage
  • Some of our customers have clients they work with and order for. I would love to be able to quick link to their clients website as well

I think a URL property would be really helpful with marketing emails as well. We send emails with links that are saved in text properties, but we can’t edit the link text of the URL within the email this way. It turns out being a really long URL in an email we are asking them to click on. It’d be better if the system would recognize that the property is a URL so that we can make the link text more descriptive.
