Viewing and Completing task using Slack, Gmail, or any API

One huge hurdle in my team’s daily workflow is viewing and completing the tasks. It’s honestly because we don’t “live” in Hubspot and while the plugins, and extensions, are great and that’s actually how most of the work in Hubspot gets done… via 3rd party apps. I’ve yet to find anything or any way to complete tasks without logging into Hubspot directly and completing them. Am I not looking in the right place? I can create anything with no problem but the nuts and bolts of completing is what we are in need of.

Is it possible to complete tasks using GMAIL or Slack? or any API or connected account, Zapier, webhooks, idk, you tell me.
