Use Goals in Reporting

I am trying to build reports that measure attainment of specific targets. For example, a seller has a goal of selling $500 of NRR, but they’ve only sold $300. I want to build a report that tracks their attainment ($300) against the goal of $500. I can do that with a reference line, which works if I’m only measuring a single seller. But ideally I would like to set a goal for a team and have it showing in a single report. You would essentially need for those newly created goals to show up as properties in the report builder. This would give a ton of flexibility to allow us to help our teammates understand progress towards different targets.

I agree reporting on goals could be a lot better if they behaved like the other properties

There has been some progress on this goal. It still doesn’t work exactly the way I need it to, but you can view this KB article to see some of the ways you can use it: Create custom goals

Reporting on Goal Attainment is very limited. You can’t report on Quarterly Goals (actual closed won deals vs goal for a period) and you can’t have the Attainment % show up on the Goal Attainment Report in a Dashboard.

From HubSpot Support “The custom report builder can’t use goals, and while the single object reports can use goals and it’s possible to show the target amount - the report is still measuring that information differently than the quota attainment.”

It would be nice to have Goals as a selection for custom report builder (not just single object reports).
