Use custom language slug or hide it

Hello,

I was wondering if it is at all possible to create language variations of pages with a custom language slug? Or if it is possible to always hide the language slug?

For example the french variation would be /sante instead of /fr and the english variation would be /healthcare instead of /en.

The language slug seems to be hardcoded so the url looks like mywebsite.com and we want it to be mywebsite.com.

Did you ever find a solution for this? Im currently facing the same issue, our clients main website is on another platform and they use different language slugs there, but they use HubSpot Landing Pages and would like to mirror the language slug similarly to HubSpot.
