Current State
- Import .csv of URL redirects.
- If “Import Failure”, get Notification of “Import Failure: Your most recent url-redirects import has some errors. Download Error List.”

Problem
- Expectation is even with “import failure” that the rest of the import was successful. I.e. like importing contacts, even if you have 3 errors on a list of 100, 97 contacts are imported successfully. I had a list of 400 redirects, 3 errors. I thought the rest of the redirects were successful.
Future State
- URL Redirects follow similar import process to Contact imports.
- See history of previous imports (new)
- See number of successful imported redirects (new)
- See number of import errors (new-ish)
- Download .csv of import errors (existing today)
Why this important
- We recently relaunched our website, and I needed to redirect many pages that were on the old site, but not going to be on the new site. A clearer, more coherent URL redirect import process—especially for HubSpot Users already familiar with Contact Imports—would make site management and creation easier and less error prone.
- Users new to HubSpot are more used to HubSpot “telling” the user needed steps or what went wrong. The “Import Failure” notification is not clear as to what exactly happened, and what the user should do next to fix the errors.
