Upload file in Root Domanin

Dear All!
We are looking to upload a .js file directly into root directory

E.g: we have pluto[dot]com and we need to upload a js file to have the end path similar to this:
www.pluto.com/myfile.js

I’ve already tried to upload it via FTP connection but it remains in the www.pluto.com/hubfs/myfile.js

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi @MarioIT,

It’s not currently possible to host files directly on the root directory of HubSpot hosted domains:

Derek_Gervais:

Hi @rlegrand, This isn’t possible with HubSpot-hosted domains because it’s not possible to host files at the root directory. That said, I can totally see the use case here. I’m happy to pass this along internally, but if you have the inclination I would encourage you to check out the Ideas Forum on the HubSpot Community. There, you can create a post including your use case that product and other customers can see.

@Derek_Gervais Derek, this is becoming the growing pain with push notifications and ssl. Do you guys have solution yet?

Thank you.

Hi, @K-Patel and others viewing this topic.

Please see my response in the topic below:

COS file upload to root - push notification COS/Content

Welcome, @K-Patel! At this time, files still cannot be hosted on the root domain, but the team is planning to release support for this in the near future! Stay tuned to the HubSpot Product Update Blog for current information.

Hello Isaac,

You previously answered a question of Hubspot not allowing files like pictures of Pluto uploaded to the root directory.

The issue is if I reach out to support I am brought to the question you answered about uploading picutres of Pluto, not Indexnow

How do you upload API in text so I can participate in Indexnow?

Thank you,

Philip Ganz

This is now possible via URL Redirects, go to Settings > Domains & URLs then URL Redirects tab. Add URL Redirect, and enter as shown below:
