Hi Noodie here, Our company is beginning our assessment of HubSpot on the recommendation from one of our suppliers. My sales colleague and I has taken the initiative to begin using HubSpot to get our Sales contacts and prospect list in order and once familiar with HubSpot’s function etc we roll out to the rest of the business. We are a small sales team of 2 sales people who want to add and update the same contact list. We both have set up free accounts for the purposes of evaluating Hubspt and getting used to it. Once we are familiar with its functions and have invested in building our contact lists in it, we will be able to recommend that the business buys a plan. We don’t need any sophisticated lead or deal tracking or forecasting. We just want to record contacts/prospects add notes and schedule calls. We can’t see the use in both building separate contact lists seeing we both work across many of the same contacts and will be each adding our own prospects and passing them back and forth. So for us we want to have two hubspot logins but work the same contact list. Is that possible or should be just share the single HubSpot sign in – which defeats the purpose. Sorry for the Noobie question and fact we are on free accounts.
Hey @Rygar707, thanks for reaching out, and welcome to HubSpot!
There is no need for you to have two separate free HubSpot accounts — pick one account that you want to share and invite the other person as a user (here is the HubSpot Knowledge Base article on adding users). There is no cost for additional users on any HubSpot plan, and each user will have their own unique profile with their own login.
Since you’ll both be in the same account, you’ll both have access to the same contact record lists and can collaborate on their contact records. HubSpot allows for amazing contact and outreach management — since you and your colleague will be working from the same place, you’ll be able to see the updates made to the record (like new data being added), the tracked outreach (like logged emails or calls), and the planned next steps (like notes or tasks).
Be sure to check out HubSpot Academy for a ton of free courses on HubSpot and other marketing/sales/service topics. The Sales Software certification is a great place to start, especially because it’s World Certification Week!
Hope this helps!!
