Hi, I was setting up quick filters for a dashboard today and found something weird.
The same property, that exists only once in our data model, is tripled when selecting the quick filters.
I don’t know if it’s possible to understand which property is being filtered by every quick filter. I did try to set up a quick filter for every “Deal stage” property, and only the first one works. Second and third “Deal stage” allow me to select any of/none of our pipeline stage, but they don’t filter the results accordingly.
Any idea about what could cause this problem?
Hi @MPedrotti,
That’s hard to say without being able to explore in your portal - it might simply be a bug in the UI. If you want to get to the bottom of it you could:
- Double check if there are additional properties with “Deal stage” as name under Settings > Properties on the deal or lead object
- Reach out to HubSpot support in-app via chat or email
Best regards
As Karsten mentioned, could just be a UI bug. It could be a property on another object that’s matching the deal property?
If you’re somewhat technical, you can open your browser’s inspect tool and one of the attributes SHOULD show the actually property name.
So below you can see I have inspect tool opened and selected Deal Stage. The property internal name is dealstage.
Creating a test property below so you can see it also
I’m not able to recreate this exact view on the dashboards menu. I did it on the Deals, but I do see only one Deal Stage in the Deals page.
Best I could do in the dashboard view is this:
So I basically see the first functioning dealstage-property-option and then additionally a pipeline.dealstage property and a funnel.dealstage property, which do not work.
I believe that the name before -property-option is the property name, so it’s probabl only a visualization bug.
