Currently we are not able to select permissions around who can schedule or send a transactional email. With so many users in our account (large Marketing team), it would be ideal to have a permission like this to ensure a transactional email only goes out when necessary. Since there is minimal difference in setting up a marketing email vs. a transactional email, this could easily become an oversight.
Making this change would allow for more control and security within our account.
This is very needed and I’m shocked that it still hasn’t been implemented. We should be able to restrict who gets to send transactional emails and not have to rely on governance to make sure that people who can send marketing emails don’t send out transactional emails.
I agree, this is very surprising that it is not controllable in the permissions settings. We’ve had situations where clients have chosen to send marketing emails on the transactional domain despite their policy being clearly communicated to never do this. It needs to be in place, it has serious implications and I can’t see any reason why HubSpot would not do it.
