Tracking Internal Email Notifications

Currently, there is no way to track internal email notifications. If the intended recipient recieved or opened the notification.
This is pretty detrimental to tracking internal communications within our organization. Specifically for internal email notifications that are tied to lead generation and contact creation.

I agree, this would be helpful!

I’d like to set up a workflow like this:

1. Customer submits a non-HubSpot form with the name xxx

2. Internal email notification is sent to contact owner.

3. If owner doesn’t open email notification within 24 hours, send internal email communication to another specified user(s).

Agreed,

We need visibility if the notifications are being received and opened internally.

It would be great to have a “Sent items” location that shows all emails sent from workflows where you can filter based on whether it’s a marketing or internal notification email, filter by who it’s sent to, filter by which workflow triggered it, etc.

We create workflows to notify engineers of upcoming jobs based on pipeline status, etc, and often trying to work out if they’re getting bombarded with too many notifications or not enough notifications is tricky. These emails also contain a lot of variable fields, so seeing exactly how these emails are delivered is really important for us.

Right now, for internal emails, the only way we can check it is to either cc a shared mailbox that we set up as a user in HubSpot, or we have to ask engineers to send us the emails they’re receiving.
