Title when logging meeting

I would be useful to be able to input a meeting title when we log a meeting.

The feature is working when we create a meeting.

Hi! There is no way to input a meeting name for manually logged meetings, and thus when running a report on those meetings there is no way to grab the meeting name. For example, if I do 20 demos in a month and manually log those in, there’s no way for me to call them Demos and then run a report on # of demos.

Indeed this could help, especially when doing some reporting about activities.

As of now, if when you pull out a report about meetings (when logged, not created with the calendar), the description is hard to read

Thanks in advance to the Hubspot dream team to add the Title field ;o))

I agree that this would be helpful. I had a colleague reach out asking if this was possible because of how many meetings there are with different people setting up meetings with a company. A logged meeting is great but would be better if a description added could be possible

Yes I agree this is really needed, we cannot report on how many meetings and with whom, as only the description of meetings is shown not the company or type of meeting.

I agree with this as I found the defect due to no meeting log without title. When we created the meeting count report on the dashboard, the report ID shows as “Unknown meeting” on the meeting details page. I checked with customer report locally and instructed to voice out here. I hope this issue will be resolved soon.

Really feel this idea needs to pick up some traction for review by HubSpot. We encourage clients to book in via our call to action buttons but we do deal with a lot of clients who are of an age where technology isn’t their forte, so a number of our meetings are logged manually by advisers. When trying to report on these, the facty there is no meeting title makes it diffult to see who the client/s is when reporting in certain formats. Please review ASAP.

Totally agree with the above, a title is definately needed.

+1

I was highly surprised to discover that when you log a meeting ‘manually’ i.e. through the “Log a meeting” button, the meeting appears in Reports displaying ‘unknown value’ in the Meeting name. This makes it impossible to report accurately on Meeting count.

I understand a workaround is to display the Description field, but this is often completed by users with longer text - and it’s not ideal to have to include both the Meeting name and Meeting description properties in a report.

Please can you provide the functionality to enable us to report on synched Meetings and logged Meetings in a consistent way, HubSpot. Given we have the Meetings object now, it’s really highlighted this issue.

I’m happy to provde any additional input to a Product Manager to help explain the requirement. Thanks in advance!

Completely agree with this feedback and also happy to provide feedback to a product manager.

this is absolutely required - particularly with the move to the new meetings object

Very surprised that this hasn’t been addressed.

I would really like this to be resolved so I can accurately report on meetings.

@hubspot Any update on this item? I agree it’d be very helpful to be able to add a Meeting Name when logging a meeting after the fact, because right now on the Meeting view, the Meeting Name is blank in the view and reports which isn’t helpful for a quick glance to see how your team is doing. I know there are workarounds, but it’s a lot more clicks/tedious work and not a great UX for the team. Thanks!

+1 for customer need

Upvoting this request as a meeting titles would be very helpful for accurate reporting.

+1 helps with reporting otherwise workarounds are clunky!

+1 Would be great to have this - makes reporting on meetings easier.
