I would love the ability to assign owners to contacts based on geographic location data. The current options are either round robin assignment OR an IF/THEN workflow step that needs multiple branches for each territory.
It would be great to have this functionality available on the admin portal and be able to create territories based on certain criteria (IP state, State field, etc…) then set a rep to be associated with that territory.
Then the workflow can just call a “Record Assign by Territory” step and then Bob’s your uncle.
