Hubspot worked hard to create lines for taxes, however, they still forgot that there are other countries on the planet where taxes do not have exact figures. Here in Quebec, we have a federal tax (GST) of 5% and a provincial tax (QST) of 9.975% that is added on top. Hubspot could have incorporated 3 decimals without rounding to accommodate us… But no, we still can’t use their quote module, that’s one of the reasons we opted for Hubspot… What a disappointment, we will continue to make our quotes on QuickBook online and it’s very ordinary.
Hi @GVoghel! Kennedy here with the HubSpot Community Team
I appreciate you providing this feedback and the details of your specific use case. Have you seen our Knowledge Base article Canadian indirect taxes | Frequently asked questions? That article will walk you through how HubSpot handles indirect taxes per province and territory, and how you can update HubSpot with your tax information.
If you have additional questions or examples of limitations after reviewing that KB, feel free to comment here and we can dig in together!
This articledoes not address the issue. I have the same problem and I cannot use Hubspot invoicing since it’s not legal in Quebec. We have to issue 2 taxes
