I have been trying to create tasks using the HubSpot Module, but it keeps giving me an error notification. It was working this morning and now it is not. I have tried multiple different things to resolve the issue, but nothing has worked.
Without this feature working properly, it is hindering our day to day operations so I would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
@NJozefik Can you provide more clarity into what is erroring out and how slack factors in to your request?
Sure, Chris! When I use the shortcut in Slack to create a task using the HubSpot module, it allows me to input all of the information about the task but when I click to save it and post it into a Slack channel, Slack sends me an error notification saying “HubSpot: Failed to create your task. Please try again”. This is not a new procedure that I am trying out, we have been using this module for the last two weeks now and it has worked quite well up until this point.
@NJozefik Hmm - interesting. I would check a couple of different things:
- Ensure that the user that installed the slack integration is still part of the slack channel that the task is supposed to go to
- Verify that the Slack Integration does not need to be reconnected (Settings>Integrations>Connected Apps>Slack)
- Try sending to a different slack channel or user as a test to see if it flows through correctly
@crispyGTM I have checked all of those things and still have the same issue. I also made sure all softwares were updated and tried clearing cookies/cache and resetting, still nothing. I am wondering if it may be a bug issue with this particular HubSpot feature.
@NJozefik This sounds like a bug, I would try to edit the workflow in incognito mode in your browser and see if that fixes. Historically we’ve seen extensions and other browser cache interfere with stuff like this.
@crispyGTM Okay, I will try this out and see if it changes anything. Thanks for your help!
@NJozefik Anytime! let me know if that works, and if it doesn’t I would recommend reaching out to HubSpot Support.
This sounds a lot like a bug so it may resolve after some time.
