im new to Hubspot and realized when i was creating a task, within a deal, that later when the task came up, when i selected it, it was opening the customer page, not the task. this is ok if i only had one deal with them but this is not always the case.
the help desk told me the default is the company however i can deselect the company from the associates in the task. to me, that is too many steps.
in my opinion, the task should open within the field it was created ie, customer, company, task, etc…
theres a reason i’m creating the task within the deal. because its the deal i want to follow up on.
