Hi @HannahSarsfield,

I’m not aware of any out-of-the-box solution here, unfortunately. The usual way would be logging emails one by one with the forwarding email address: Log email in your CRM with the BCC or forwarding address

Is there a way to select multiple email chains at the same time and use this feature to upload them into Hubspot?

That would depend on your email client, but in most email clients you have to forward an email one by one, unfortunately.

I’m not sure if HubSpot has any plans to change this, it might be possible via the API with the help of developer.

Currently comparing Hubspot and Pipedrive .. Pipedrive has a feature to auto synch all previous email correspondence with my contacts that I have uploaded into their platform. This is a powerful feature for people looking at CRM Platforms pipedriveSynch.png

Thanks Karsten. Are Hubspot looking at the possibly to bulk sync past emails at all, as this would be a very useful feature.

So at present, the only way to log past emails is to forward them manually to the Hubspot email address?

As far as I know, it’s not possible out of the box. You would have to work with a developer and the HubSpot API to explore this.

Threads can automatically import all your historic email into Hubspot without the need to manually forward all your emails. You can find us on the Hubspot App Marketplace.

Good news, there’s now a dedicated product update for this :slightly_smiling_face:

For now, this is feature is available for Gmail accounts only but that might change.

Historical email import

What is it?

Please not it is supported for Gmail only for this rollout

Historical email import is a new powerful onboarding tool that allows users to bring in contacts and old email threads from their inbox to HubSpot so they can easily continue their prospecting efforts in the new CRM.

Why does it matter?

Starting from scratch in a new system is hard. By importing in all your existing context to your CRM, you can pick right up where you left off but using HubSpot’s powerful tools.

How does it work?

After connecting a personal email, use the Actions drop down menu to select “Import historical data”. This will guide you through a flow where you can define your date range, choose to import emails for existing contacts or create new contacts as well.

Admins can turn this feature on or off and set defaults in Email Log & Track settings.

Hi there very new to hubspot can I use a .pst exported from outlook to feed into hubspot?

I’m not finding any reference to being able to utilize a .pst file exported from Outlook to import into HubSpot, but I want to re-tag in @karstenkoehler to the conversation to ensure I’m not missing anything!

For single activities, you could simply copy/paste the email content and log it manually to a record: Create or log activities on a record
