The Netsuite/HubSpot integration continues to mature, and this is great. Our Sales team still has to go into Netsuite for one primary data point: the items, quantities, and pricing for the line items on the invoice. The integration now pushes the Netsuite invoice and some of that invoice data to HubSpot. However, it doesn’t include the line item info from that invoice. Our Netsuite/Hubspot products are in sync, so this should be readily doable as both systems know the line item info and can match it between systems.
This is especially necessary when companies need to target marketing to customers who have bought certain items or categories of items.
I agree; this is critical functionality for running cross-sell/up-sell campaigns based on past item order history. Without line items, these campaigns are not possible. Line item detail on invoices coming over from Netsuite should be a native functionality.
Is this available in another way at all? I really need this as well and haven’t been able to find a solution. To explain what I’m seeing and possibly others, when I setup an invoice sync between Netsuite and HubSpot and configure “line items” into HubSpot, all the Netsuite properties become unselectable. There’s got to be a way to show which items were sold in an invoice. That seems pretty standard. Am I missing something?
I haven’t found a solution yet. Our product catalog is fairly simple. However, it has been growing and this is becoming a more urgent issue. It isn’t there yet for us, but it is getting there.
Vital for us for cross and upselling as mentioned by others, but also for contract renewals and on-demand awareness. For instance, a sales person is at a tradeshow and is preparing for a meeting with a customer who has a contract renewal coming in the next 12 months. All of the CS data and account management data is in HubSpot. But he has to go over to Netsuite to figure out what is actually being billed since some items are optional month-to-month add-ons. Is it a giant problem? No. It does, however, make HubSpot “one more system” for Sales since they were previously in Netsuite. HubSpot’s tooling makes it generally worth it, but this issue does leave a bitter taste in the mouth.
