Subscription types consistency and viewing

This is a two-fold question:

1. We have several types of subscription for contacts (newsletter, critical notifications, product updates…) and we need to identify how many have opted into each of the categories, but it seems the only filter is to see if the opt-out is “true” or “false” (i.e. not opted in and opted in would all be in one category: “false” to opted out). Is this the case?

2. We have created a workflow from a subscription form that sets the “Newsletter” subscription type to “Subscribed” (filter generated with AI) but, from the previous point above, this does not seem to be an option. Will this action work properly? And, if so, what would the subscription type field show?

Thanks!

Hi @MFontbernat,

Regarding your first question, the filter for subscription types live here, not under contact properties:

Question two should also be answered by that.

Keep in mind that, if you set up your form correctly, the opt-in for the subscription type is already set by the form.

Also, it’s better to not add these contacts to a static list as they might unsubscribe. If they unsubscribe, they would remain on a static list. Instead, create an active list that filters for email subscriptions (see screenshot above). This will then automatically remove unsubscribed contacts from the list.

Best regards
