I would like to show in the form of a chart how many deals at what stage have been completed. E.g. stage 1 completed 5 deals stage 2 completed 2 deals stage 3 completed 10 deals.
Please help in building such a report

HubSpot has an out-of-the-box report for this. Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report and search for “Deal stage funnel” in the search field on the right.

This report shows the data if the deal passes through all stages. We have 5 stages before we close the record, but the record can be closed at any stage and eg if I close the record on the 2nd stage, I do not see it in the statistics at the second stage or in the completed status

I’m not aware how to achieve this within one report historically.
Going forward, you could achieve this with a custom property and a deal-based workflow. The custom property would be a reflection / clone of the Deal stage property.
The workflow would **re-**enroll deals when the default Deal stage is known AND when the Deal stage is not closed won. It would then copy the Deal stage value into the value of your custom property, keeping it the latest value before closing.
You could then use this to create your custom report for which stage was the last one.
