Hello! Hope you all are doing well.

I wonder if anyone could provide me guidance on how should I start my work as a social media manager and how to attract customers. As I’m a beginner I can only handle pages by uploading posts and stories and engaging with audience.

It would be a great help if anyone could tell me how should I find customers and start my work and learn experience.

Being a social media manager requires constant learning. I would recommend taking as many social media-related courses as possible on HubSpot Academy and other platforms and keeping up to date with trends. I like to read Social Media Today to keep up on the latest social media news and insights :slightly_smiling_face:

I also wanted to tag in a few of our study group members to see if they have advice.

I would love if you could help me in one thing as well that I have joined Upwork as a freelancer but the problem is that I have trouble making portfolio as I don’t have any work done before in this field. So can you tell me how can I build my portfolio?

to create a portfolio on Upwork, it is not a must to have done some work on Upwork before. you can make a portfolio without experience.
