When integrating Hubspot with Shopify, are you able to map Shopify product variants with Hubspot products? Or is it only product-to-product?

At the time of writing, HubSpot’s native Shopify integration only supports products, not variants.
We resolve this for our client by using the Unific integration instead as this does support variants: Shopify Sync by Unific

The Unific app seems great to implement shopify variants into Hubspot platform. Can you show any examples of code syntax on how to retrieve a variant field mapped in hubspot? Let me know if that makes sense.
The native HubSpot-Shopify integration is limited to product-to-product syncing, meaning it only recognizes the parent product and ignores the specific variant data (like size, color, or SKU).
To get around this, you usually need a third-party tool like Unific to map those deeper variant details into HubSpot properties. This is especially important if you use a customization app like our Misk Variant & Product Options.
Because Misk captures detailed variant data like custom text or specific swatches directly on the product page, having a sync that recognizes those variants is the only way to ensure your HubSpot CRM actually knows exactly what the customer ordered.
