At the moment forms inherit the default lifecycle stage for when a user is created in HubSpot.
Often times contacts who are imported will be at a different LCS than a form submission.
For example if a sales person uploads a new load they may want to be set as an SQL, if I import contacts from another system I was may want them to be subscribers, however it’s more than likely I will want a new contacts who submits a form to be deemed a new lead so I would like to set them as “lead”.
At the moment the only option would be to set every new contact to be a lead or manually update this setting on a per form basis, which also gives me no way to enforce this should another person create a form.
I know I can update this through workflows but this gives an inconsistent experience as the form settings will still say they’re setting the LCS as the system default.
