Sequence - Change Subject line

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to HubSpot Sales Pro and I’m setting up my first email sequence. I’m hoping someone can help clarify something for me.

I’ve created a sequence with an initial email followed by 3–4 follow-up emails. For the 2nd and 3rd follow-ups, I’d like to change the subject line, but still have those emails remain part of the same email thread, so the recipient can see my original email below.

Is there a way to do this in HubSpot Sequences?

I’ve been playing around with the settings but haven’t figured out whether this is possible.

Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, this is not possible - not in HubSpot and not in typical email clients either. A new subject line will force a new conversation.
