Currently there is no way to identify which reports use which specific objects so, for example, if you are trying to update all Deal reports to include a new property there is literally no way to identify which reports you’ll need to adjust. The left navigation on the Reports menu only browses ready-made reports and My Reports can be filtered by Dashboard, Owner, and Last Updated but there is no way to isolate reports by object.
