We are using a 3rd party solution for publishing our blog. We created a Hubspot RSS email for blog subscribers to get an email whenever we publish a new blog post. Today’s blog post was timestamped in the RSS feed as
however the email that was sent to blog subscribers displayed the date incorrectly as Feb 25. We’re using Hubspot’s RSS template (screenshot attached) to parse out the date. Is there something else we need to configure?
Hi @gravity_js
In your Settings do you know if the Timezone has been set?
Settings (cog top right) > Account Defaults (left menu) > General Info > Time Zone
Looking at your example the Time is set to +0000 which I think is UTC. In New Zealand we’re UTC + 13 if you’re in the USA you could be UTC -5 or UTC -8 which would explain the date shift.
Hopefully the Time Zone settings will help.
Mike
Thanks, that might be it. Hubspot’s settings are correct, but perhaps our feed’s settings need to be fixed.
