Hi,

A question/comment was created on a Deal on the app and a user was @mentioned. When the person responded he can not see the response on the app. He can only see the response in the email notification and on his laptop. Is that how it is suppose to work?

I think I was able to reproduce the behaviour you described. However, to be sure we’re on the same page, could you please confirm that the following is the step you took too?

  1. User A added a new comment and @mention user B on a deal record via HubSpot mobile app
  2. User B responded to user A’s comment from desktop
  3. User A is able to view user B’s response in desktop, however, user A is unable to view B’s response in mobile app

If there’s anything different from your steps, could you please specify so that I can test?

If the above is correct, I will reach out to the internal product team to see if this is expected behaviour.

I’ve heard back from the internal team and got a confirmation that comment is only implemented on Android and not on iOS at the moment. So the behaviour we both saw is currently expected:(

That being said, I can definitely see how such a feature would be beneficial for iOS users and found that other Community user published this idea post: Allow editing notes and commenting on them on the iOS app.

Could you please upvote and share more on your use case on this related idea on our Ideas Forum? Our product team is constantly on the lookout here for users’ feedback and ideas on ways in which they could possibly improve the functionality of our tools so sharing more of your use case on this feature request would definitely help in pushing for the exploration of this feature.
