When setting a date field to required on forms, double asterisks appear beside the label. This is occuring for all client portals we have access to including our own partner portal. The label does not have an asterisk in it which seems to be the common ask from HubSpot support, but I can confirm that there are no asterisks used anywhere.

Just to clarify with a bit more visual context, would you mind posting screenshots of how the field appears on the live forms, as well as how they’re formatted in the form editor, as well as the label itself? I’d like to try and replicate this in my own portal to see if I can duplicate the behavior.

I can certainly provide that at some point but it won’t take long to
replicate the issue. If you add a Date property then mark it as required it
should show the two asterisks.

This is indeed a small visual bug which I’d recommend flagging with HubSpot support in-app via chat or email. This is mainly a user to user community here and support can pass this on to the product team directly.
What you’re pointing out only affects the editor, not the published form:

So, while confusing, no external contact will ever get to see two asterisks.
