Need help in creating this dashboard (number of reports needed, report type, data sources , filter):
Macro Campaign/Channel Analysis Dashboard
YOY Total # of Campaigns by Business Unit (DDH, CMSSP, O142)-->Budget-->Campaign-->Deep-dive metric details below
For example, in 2025, Orange 142 had 20 campaigns, valued at $XX, this is the 1 campaign, this is how much it cost (budget), this is how much it generated (closed deal amount) . This is the most popular content that led to a form fill.
This includes both content (like O142 blog posts) and events (like POSSIBLE, eTourism Summit and Cannes Lions for example), any marketing campaign we create in HubSpot.
HEy @HSalah reports aren’t a simple answer and generally can’t be provided in a comment on a community.
Reports can take some back and forth and time to get right. If you’re struggling to build out reports in HubSpot I’d definitely recomend the building reports in HubSpot academy course.
HubSpot’s reporting tools might struggle to give you everything you’re asking for in one place, especially with YOY comparisons, cross-object views, and deep drill-downs by business unit.
1. Pull your HubSpot data (Campaigns, Deals, Forms, Content Performance) into Google Sheets or Excel
2. Build a dynamic dashboard that includes:
Total # of campaigns by year and business unit
Campaign-level budget vs. revenue (you can join this with budget data from another source)
Form fills and top-performing content per campaign
Filters by BU, channel, year, campaign type (content vs. event, etc.)
You can also leverage the AI Sheets Assistant to help build this with you
3. Set it on a refresh schedule so you don’t need to rebuild it monthly
4. Share it with stakeholders using normal spreadsheet sharing — no HubSpot access needed OR you can embed your live visuals from your spreadsheet back into a HubSpot dashboard so it’s all side by side in one place. I made a video for this recently.
This gives you the flexibility to track multi-channel, multi-BU campaigns over time with way more control than HubSpot’s native builder allows.
