Hey folks, I’ve created a custom report based on two custom behavioural events so I can track the conversion of one to another. The first is visits to a landing page and the second clicks to the CTA.
This is working effectively, but now, I’d like to track this on a weekly and daily basis and show this in graphical form so we can see the conversion rate changes over time. I can’t figure out the best way to do this, any ideas, please?
Hi @AWhiteley,
As far as I know, it’s currently not possible to visualize the conversion rate from one event to another in the default report types in HubSpot.
- Either you create a custom report (Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Custom Report Builder > Custom Behavioral Events) and you’re able to visualize one behavioral event over time.
- Or you create a Customer Journey Report (Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Custom Report Builder > Custom Behavioral Events) to visualize the conversion rate at one point in time.
That being said, if you have Operations Hub Enterprise, this might be possible by creating a dataset first, leveraging formula fields: Build and activate datasets in Data Studio
Unfortunately I don’t have a test portal at my disposal that has both the needed subscription type and custom behavioral events set up – you could find out by requesting an Operations Hub Enterprise demo from your HubSpot Sales rep.
Best regards
Hi, thanks for your response. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, we
don’t have Operations Hub Enterprise so I can’t try the data set option.
Ill have to try and figure out a workaround. Thanks!
