Report for average email count per contact

I am looking to create a custom report for a dashboard that shows the average number of marketing emails recipients receive, per week ideally. For example, I don’t need to report per contact, I am just looking for an average count of all contacts and all emails received, such as average emails received per recipient this week/per week = 2.

I have had a look and a go, but I can’t seem to get it. Is there a way to create this custom report in HubSpot?

Using a workflow -
1. Enroll contacts based on email sent criteria.
2. Increment a custom property “Weekly Email Count” by 1.

3. Add a delay until the end of the week

4. Reset “Weekly Email Count” to 0 for the next week.

Thank you! Just to confirm that to report on average email recieved by recipients each week I would firstly need to create a workflow, then create a custom property, then I will be able to build a report on this?
