Replace Images

Hi,
I have made some changes in the image urls by optimizing the names of previously uploaded images, however images urls have been optimized and giving 200 status, but the issue is the previous image urls is also working and giving 200 status code. now there is two urls working for the same images. What can i do to fix this ?

The underlying issue here is caching. When an image is replaced, HubSpot retains the same URL, and the content Editor can continue displaying the previously cached version – even when the Files panel shows the new image. Hard refreshes, incognito, and reopening the Editor do not reliably resolve it.

Uploading the image under a new filename, or renaming the existing file works because it creates a new URL, but that defeats the purpose of Replace: preserving the existing URL and references. HubSpot needs to invalidate the Editor’s image cache when a file is replaced or provide a manual per-file refresh option.

Cache busting the preview or published page works, so for end users all is good. Cache busting the Editor does not and for Editors, it adds friction.
