I am in the process of renaming some images and then moving them to a new location within the Hubspot file system.
After I have done so, however, the path and file name of the image has not updated on the webpages - even after a hard refresh of the page or viewing in incognito.
I can replace the image with the new version of the image inside the page builder, meaning a version with the new name a location exists.
How long does it take to update all the new names and paths? And is there a way for me to manually force the cache to be cleared?
Thank you for your reply.
The images are already in use on various Web pages. I have used the file
manager on Hubspot to rename an image, and move it to a new location.
Does that help?
I am writing to let you know how I’m frustrated with the same issue.
I have optimized (replaced, moved, and renamed) photos on the website and the website isn’t reflecting the changes. Please let us know how the cache can be cleared. I tried finding information about it, but from what I read, it seems that there is no official way to clear the cache. Could you please advise as I don’t want to change the images manually?
I have in one instance, and the path and filename have updated (as expected) as I did it manually.
My main question is whether the other images, without me doing so manually, will update automatically to reflect the new filename and path which I changed in the Files view on Hubspot’s backend.
Currently, they still show the old filenames and paths. This after I have performed hard refreshes on the page, and I have tried viewing it in incognito mode. Neither of these approaches have worked.
Is there a cache within Hubspot that I can clear manually to force the paths/filenames to update to the newly modified version?
Thanks again
Hi Özcan,
Could you please let us know if we can only change the images manually? I have renamed and moved more than 200 pictures - they still don’t reflect these changes on the website.
Thank you.
