Recovering deleted tasks

Hello,

I accidentally deleted my outstanding tasks rather than clicking the “completed” button. Is there a way to recover them as none are on the individual contact activity page any longer.

Hi @AShieldsMBA,

I’m not aware of any options to bulk recover tasks. You can however restore activities on specific records: Restore deleted activities logged on a record

Thank you for your response; however, when I navigate to the contacts, then actions, there is no restore activity option.

This requires either Super admin permissions or a user with Add and edit users permissions – have you checked whether you have these permissions?

If it’s been beyond 90 days, the activity will be permanently deleted.

You can easily go to the area where the task was associated. For example, if the Task was associated with a Deal, go into the Deal. On the left scrollable area of the trifold layout, you will see a blue ’

Actions

’ button above the Deal Name. Click ’

Actions

’ and proceed to select Restore Activity.

This will work within the Contact, Company, Deal, etc.

Hello, I’m not sure if you DELETED them or bulk-marked them COMPLETE.

If you BULK marked them COMPLETE, simply :

Go to the Task tab

more filters

change task status to is any of ( complete )

Go to the last page, and the last tasks you marked as complete will be there. you can simply bulk mark them as incomplete, and they will go back to your unfinished tasks.
