Quote

I would like the quotes I make to remain expired on the date I stipulate, this gives the client the priority and importance that deserves to review the quote we sent them, as well as those who wish to buy and request a new one. At the same time, it helps with promotions or discounts that expire on the date we inform the customer. For us it is too much work to make 300 quotes a month and then 50 are sold and there have to be 250 clients with access that we do not want and at the same time the system does not allow you to keep them expired if you want, when placing won lost the quote is still active, it can’t be done like this, when going to quotes there is no filter to catch the expired ones and archive them, which would mean that I have to do it manually, that is, 250 times to archive. It is too much time doing this task that is unnecessary. I understand those who want their systems to keep quotes open, but there was an option that said how long you want to have it active. Another idea is that huspot implements this option for clients who want it to expire after 365 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 month, 15 days. Something that helps all types of clients.

Hi @GGarden

Have you considered using a quote-based workflow?

For example if the quote is “pending approval” but the expiry date has passed:

  • set Quote Status to Draft
  • maybe also change associated deal pipeline stage
  • send an email “Quote expired”, set a task etc.

best
