Quote Creation Creates Internal Email

Hello,

I had a requirement I thought would be relatively straight forward, but there does not seem to be a good way to do it.

When a Quote is created in HubSpot, I would like to email that Quote internally. This would go to a Production team member. Is this possible? All workflow type solutions to this seem to be contact/subscription/external focused as opposed to a simple internal email.

Hi @BCarlson5,

Here’s how you can do it,

  • use a “Quote based” Workflow - The email link will be directed to quote directly.
  • However, if you wanna redirect to the deal where that quote lives use “deal-based” workflow and use filter “associated quote - record ID is known”

Is it true that Marketing Hub professional is needed to just send an internal email this way? It has nothing to do with marketing.

Use Internal Communication Email and NOT External Communication which is a Marketing email.

This was helpful thank you. One thing I am still confused on is why, when I create a new Quote, the Quote is not enrolling into the Workflow. If I were to do a Manual Entrollment and Use my Enrollment Triggers, the Quotes are there, but should this not be automatic given the appropriate criteria? Please see setup below:

I am facing similar issue with quote based workflows, I would reach out to support otherwise the triggers looks good!
