when i create an invoice in hubspot, it drafts the invoice in qbo but removes the link from the invoice to allow the customer to pay online once they receive it via email. any ideas on how to stop that from happening?

Retain Online Payment Convenience: To prevent the removal of the online payment link in HubSpot invoices synced with QuickBooks Online, ensure that the link is included in the email template used for sending invoices. Verify that the integration settings are correctly configured to preserve the link during the sync. Double-check both platforms’ settings to ensure seamless online payment options for your customers
When you create an invoice in HubSpot that syncs to QuickBooks Online (QBO), and it removes the payment link, it’s usually because the integration is pushing the invoice in “draft” status without enabling the “Online Payments” option in QBO. QuickBooks requires the online payment options (like credit card or ACH) to be explicitly enabled per invoice. To fix this, you should first check your QuickBooks settings to ensure that online payments are turned on by default for all invoices. Then, depending on the integration tool you’re using, configure it to create invoices as “sent” or “finalized” rather than as drafts—this helps preserve the payment functionality. Some integrations don’t support toggling this option directly, so you might need a custom solution that updates the invoice after creation or uses QuickBooks API to enable online payments programmatically.
