Hello!
Is there a way to push a blog post to Google automatically from hubspot when I publish it? There’s a way to do it from SquareSpace but I haven’t found it in Hubspot yet.
Thanks!

Hey @JH101 I’m not familiar with that squarespace feature and can’t seem to find anything online about it, do you have a link to any info on that feature by any chance?
There’s no real “publish to google” that can be done on a web page (including a blog). Google works by crawling through site links and indexing websites it finds through their algorithim. If a website is live, and it’s hasn’t been set up specifically not to be indexed, then technically it is available for google to index. They never specifically say how they rank items, but there’s a lot of SEO techniques that can be used to improve your rank and visibility on search engines. It’s ultimately down to google how they rank and if they display your site however, there’s no way to force it.
One thing you can do to help this along is by submitting your site to be recrawled by google manually:
Right, so in Squarespace there is a button within the blog post’s settings/publishing to tell it to request indexing from google automatically--rather than having to go to google search console and request re-indexing manually. Wondering if there is something similar in Hubspot.
Hi @JH101,
not by default. If you have a developer by your side you could try to connect the blog API and the Google Search Console API so everytime you publish a new post the Google crawler is send out automatically.
While this would make things easier I’d say it’s not worth the effort.
best,
