Pulling timebased information into HubSpot

Hi there,
We’re trying to use HubSpot dashboards to have reports where we can see the increase of customers over a period of time.

According to the HubSpot API information it’s not possible to do this, but we were wondering if anyone has had success trying to do something similar.

So, for example:
We would like to see:
Total customers in january
Total customers in february
But also be able to see the growth in this over a period of time.

While for now it is not possible to see the growth of e.g. customers over a period of time via the HubSpot Analytics API, you can retrieve monthly summarize report by setting the time period e.g:

api.hubapi.com/analytics/v2/reports/totals/summarize/monthly?hapikey=demo&start=20190501&end=20190531

  • This will return all the analytics for the month of May

and

api.hubapi.com/analytics/v2/reports/totals/summarize/monthly?hapikey=demo&start=20190601&end=20190630

  • This will return all the analytics for the month of June

With the return response, we can see the number of customers for each respective month
