Challenge:
Properties can be used for functionality outside of the HubSpot CRM, e.g. custom integrations and serverless functions in web apps.
We will add these notes to the property description, however, we still find that admins will still accidentally delete properties that look like they are unused.
Proposed solution:
On the Usage page of properties include a ‘Custom usage’ dropdown.
Have a form to add a Custom usage with the Name, status, description.
Can manually set a custom usages to on/off.
Can only archive/delete a property once all custom usages are set as off.
