Proper format to import from excel

New to the tool and looking for the proper header format to properly import my excel lists into Hub Spot

Hi @UCSgroup

What do you mean by format, the headers should have the same name as the property you want to import, e.g. “First Name”. HubSpot will automatically match those, and you have a chance to review the matching. In theory you could call your headers whatever and match everything by hand, which can be tedious of course.

Hi @UCSgroup,

You can find sample files here: Sample import files

Alternatively, during the import process itself, HubSpot will let you generate sample files based on the data sources you selected.
