Do you time block? Do you take brain breaks? What are your hacks for productivity? --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
That’s a great question Victor Becerra! I put time blocks on my calendar and that has been working pretty well for me! Another benefit is that other people who have access to my calendar are able to see if I’m busy and what I’m working on. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
Absolutely time block and absolutely take brain breaks! --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
Brain breaks are underrated! I’ll sometimes step away from my computer and sit on my front porch for 3-5 minutes. Just for fresh air and to feel the sun on my face. It’s easy to get sucked into the vortex of a digital world, a forced analog experience often helps my brain reset. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
I live on my personal Trello board. I have 2 main columns: ToDo and Done. My ToDo column is always ordered by priority. Anytime a new thing pops up I add it to my ToDo and re-prioritise if needs be. Once a task is done I move it to the done column. At the start of each week I pick the top 3-5 things I want to achieve this week. Seeing my top items in the done column at the end of the week is very satisfying

My dog is my time break. I step away from my computer and every hour or so, throw the ball for him to get his blood flow and mine, charged up. And because I work sitting on a poof on the floor (with back support), every get up and sit down is an exercise in muscle strengthening. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
